Our leaders typically have over 30 years in the industry and have been trained and developed to be the best in their disciplines.

Terrell J. (Terry) Clark

President and Chief Executive Officer
Terry Clark, President and CEO of White Marlin Oil and Gas Company, LLC since 2013, has over 34 years of domestic and international experience within the energy industry. Terry began his career with Amoco Production Company where he developed expertise in oil and gas exploitation and development, reservoir management, and production engineering. After 17 years at Amoco, Terry was instrumental in the start-up of several oil and gas ventures such as Reading and Bates Development Company, Atlantis E&P, Black Elk Energy and White Marlin E&P. Mr. Clark is a 1980 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder (BS, Mechanical Engineering), is a registered professional engineer, and has been a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers for 30+ years.

Paul M. Dunning

Senior Vice President and General Manager
Paul Dunning, Sr. VP and General Manager of White Marlin Oil and Gas Company, LLC, is a Certified Professional Landman, who has been with the White Marlin Assets since 2004. Mr. Dunning has 37 years of diversified experience in acquisitions, divestitures, optioning, leasing, managing, developing, screening and investing in oil, gas, coal, uranium, onshore and federal offshore properties. Previously Mr. Dunning held various positions at Sabco Oil and Gas, Linc Energy, Cabot Oil & Gas, StatOil Exploration, J. M. Huber, Mobil Producing Texas and New Mexico, and Gulf Mineral Resources. Mr. Dunning is a 1976 and 1977 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (BBA, Finance and BBA, Petroleum Land Management, respectively).

Douglas W. (Doug) Fehr

Chief Operating Officer
Doug Fehr, Chief Operating Officer of White Marlin Oil and Gas Company, LLC, joined the company in January 2014. Mr. Fehr has been in the E&P sector of the oil and gas industry for over 35 years and has held various leadership positions in facility engineering, construction, project management, compliance, operations and safety throughout his career. Mr. Fehr started his career with Amoco in 1979, where he held various positions with increasing responsibility until his retirement from Amoco/BP in 2008. Subsequently, Mr. Fehr joined an independent as VP and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Fehr is a 1975 graduate of York University (BA, Geography) and 1979 graduate of the University of Toronto (BS, Geotechnical Engineering).

Rana K. Hassen

Chief Financial Officer
Rana Hassen, Chief Financial Officer of White Marlin Oil and Gas Company, LLC, has been working with the White Marlin assets since April 2008. Ms. Hassen has over 10 years of experience specializing in financial and strategic modeling, corporate financial planning and analysis, capital and operational budgeting, M&A analysis, and investor relations. Previously, she held various positions in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, and Strategy with increasing responsibility at Sabco Oil and Gas, Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, ExxonMobil, and Apache. Ms. Hassen is a 2001 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (BBA, Finance) and a 2005 graduate of the Stern School of Business at New York University (MBA).

James M. (Jim) Grubb

Vice President Exploration
Jim Grubb, Vice President of Exploration of White Marlin Oil and Gas Company, LLC, joined the Company in April of 2014. Mr. Grubb has over 40 years of geological experience, having lead several teams in the Gulf Coast and as an independent explorer. Mr. Grubb started his career at Chevron and has since worked for family companies and small independents. While at Aminoil, his team discovered the Cooley and Guerra Fields in South Texas in the early 80’s. He has screened and generated prospects in the Gulf Coast, Louisiana and Oklahoma and spent several years in International exploration and offshore Texas. Mr. Grubb is a graduate of The Bowling Green State University (Bachelors in Geology and Business Administration, Masters in Geology.) He is a 30 year member of The American Association of Petroleum Geologist, a member of the Houston Geological Society, and the Organization of Exploration Independents. He has held several board positions in the Houston Chapter of The Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists.

William A. (Bill) Hicks

Vice President Engineering
Bill Hicks, Vice President Engineering of White Marlin Oil and Gas Company, LLC, joined the company in February 2014. Mr. Hicks has over 30 years of subsurface engineering and surface operations experience in numerous domestic and international oil and gas areas. Previously, he worked with Amoco and BP from 1979 to 2009, where he held numerous technical, field-based, and management positions. From 2009 to 2013, Mr. Hicks worked as a consultant in Houston, TX primarily for Tauber E&P, but also INEXS, Maralo LLC and Taqa North, where he screened exploration and development prospects and led A&D activities. Mr. Hicks is a 1978 graduate of the University of Idaho (BS, Geological Engineering) and is an alumnus of Amoco’s petrophysics training program. He is also a member of SPE.
